Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called
Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like
a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems and he has a name written that
no one knows but himself. Revelation 19:11-12
Jesus is our ultimate superhero. Don’t we enjoy a romance story or an action
movie and the hero in that story? It must be in our DNA as human beings. The
theme is always the same and we know the outcome before it has completely
unfolded. It is destroy the bad guy, save the world, and rescue the bride.
In the garden after the fall of man, God promised a redeemer when He told the
serpent that One is coming who will crush his head; and in the fullness of time,
the Redeemer was born. His name was Jesus, because He would save His people
            from their sins.
This is the greatest story. It is the story of human history. It is His story; God
preparing a people to be with Him for all eternity! It is the story of God creating
people that know Him as He is, and worship Him in a manner that He is worthy
to be worshiped; the bride of Christ.

Lord help us, by Your grace, to live our lives in a manner worthy of our calling
and in light of the great future we have before us as Your precious, blood-
            bought, bride.
                                                     – Rick & Lynn Norton
