I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.
        Psalm 119:58
Almost 50 years ago, God’s unmerited favor led my parents to find a church
where God’s Word would be believed and preached as truth. They also wanted to
find a church where the five of us kids could be involved in a solid, biblical youth
        program.
Unmerited favor allowed me to grow up under Dr. Dunn’s teaching, to find
Christ at a young age, and to be encouraged by many Sunday school teachers and
        workers along the way.
Unmerited favor exposed us to great teaching and great examples in ministry. We
heard stories of great faith from Grace missionaries who spread the gospel across
the globe in different cultures like Taiwan and Papua New Guinea. We soaked in
Bible teaching where we learned to more eagerly look for the Lord’s return and to
reach all those that we can with the good news before He comes.
Unmerited favor has doubly blessed us to carry the message of His love and grace
for sinners to some of the farthest corners of the planet, through the generosity
and prayers of many Grace Presbyterian members over the past 25 years.

Lord, help our church continue to spread the good news of Your unmerited
favor, available to all who believe.
                                                       – Brian Cordes
