The women’s ministry is hosting a baby shower in support of the Women’s Pregnancy Center (WPC) on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in the Front Porch Room. Join us for a fun-filled evening and enjoy an update from the center’s director, Julie Philyaw. The WPC provides free support services for women and children in the Peoria area. Pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, and parenting classes are just a few ways the center helps our community. Just last year they had 1100 clients come in for diapers and baby clothes! Let’s come together and bless this ministry by providing for their needs! Below is a listing of new items you can bring as gifts for the shower:
- Infant formula (can)
- newborn jammies
- outfits
- onesies
- baby wash
- receiving blankets
- diapers
- wipes
- clothing from 0-3mos through size 4T
