Welcome to Grace
We invite you to learn more about us!

A multiplying community of all generations exalting Christ and living out the gospel.

• Multiplying community

One of our deepest needs as human beings is to enjoy life with people with whom we share close relationships. One of the most excellent benefits that Jesus provides Christians is the opportunity to share life with a community of believers. God meets our deep need through His excellent provision of Biblical community—the fellowship, partnership, and companionship we share with other Christians. We envision Grace as a community of people who love, encourage, challenge, and support each other to grow in our relationships with God and with each other.

We see the community of Grace multiplying and expanding through disciple-making relationships that progressively involve more and more people within the Grace family, and outreach and evangelism that reaches the area and the world.

This will be a community...

• Of all generations

Grace has a rich history of reaching each generation for Christ. We envision the sanctuary, youth, and children’s areas filled with people who are young, old, and every age in between. This vision respects those who’ve led Grace throughout its storied tradition while seeking to invest in those who will lead us in the future.

In the context of being a church of all generations, we have a burden for strengthening families, and a particular burden to strengthen men, realizing that strengthening men will strengthen entire families for generations to come.

This community of all generations will be wholeheartedly...

• Exalting Christ

As a grateful response to who He is and what He had done for us, we exalt (lift up high) the name of Christ in worship that encompasses all of life. We envision the community of Grace exalting Christ wholeheartedly in gathered worship on Sunday mornings. We also envision our people glorifying God by exalting Christ in all we do—at home, at work, at school, in the neighborhood, and in the community.

As we exalt Christ, we will be a people who are...

• Living out the gospel

From beginning to end, the Bible explains to us the grand narrative of the gospel—the good news about Jesus Christ. To live out the gospel is to act upon the realization that the gospel is not only the entrance point into our relationship with Christ, but it’s also the path we are to walk in our life with Him. The gospel is not just the means of our initial salvation, but it’s also the means of our ongoing transformation. As we reflect with gratitude upon Christ’s work on our behalf in His life, death, and ongoing care for us, we will increasingly become aware of and depend upon the gospel’s power not only to cancel the guilt of our sin, but also to defeat the power of sin in our lives. Plus, a deepening understanding of the gospel will compel us to reach out to a sinful world that desperately needs to experience the power of the gospel through our caring words and loving actions. We envision the people of Grace living out the gospel in such a profound way that individual lives, entire families, and local communities will be transformed by the power of Christ for their benefit and for His glory.

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" (Matthew 22:37).

Although we love God and worship Him all week, on Sunday you will be joining the Grace family to hear God speak to you through His Word and to respond to His glory with praise and increased commitment to follow Him wholeheartedly. Your relationship with God will grow.

We invite you to take the first step of joining us regularly on Sunday morning for the worship service.

"You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39).

In the community of Grace, you will enjoy authentic relationships in which you will receive care, love, encouragement, and instruction; in which you will in turn give the same to others. To facilitate this mutual caring, we've established Sunday school classes, home groups, and youth and children's classes and clubs so that you can connect with others in true friendship.

Along with participating in Sunday worship, we invite you to take the next step to love others by connecting with one of these "life-on-life" groups.

"Go therefore and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19).

A disciple of Jesus Christ follows Him and teaches others how to follow Him. When you’re involved in making disciples at Grace, you’ll be growing in your relationship with God and others, and you’ll be using your God-given talents to help others to grow. We have opportunities available to you to help others to follow Christ in ministries within the church and in outreach to our local community and the world.

This mission is for all ages. Through programs for children and youth, and through equipping classes for parents, we will help you to teach your own children how to follow Jesus through their youth all the way into adulthood.

As you love God and others, we invite you to take the next step of making disciples with us through serving on a ministry team committed to discipleship and outreach.
