John and Karen Winkelman

FamilyLife exists to glorify God, make Christ known, and be used by Him in a Family Reformation.

Our mission is to "effectively develop godly families who change the world one home at a time". Our outreaches include Weekend to Remember conferences, one-day arena events such as "I Still Do", Homebuilders Couples Series, and Church seminars. Our ministry's radio program, FamilyLife Today airs locally on WPEO. FamilyLife also creates resources that are designed to connect family members. The newest facet to our ministry is a mercy mission called Hope for Orphans. It is designed to educate the Christian community about adoption.

John and Karen serve with FamilyLife, a division of Campus Crusade for Christ, in Little Rock, Arkansas. John worked for Caterpillar as an engineer 12 years before moving to Little Rock in 1999.

John   is in the Family Life’s Field Ministries Group and is working in the Volunteer Relations and Training department as Coordinator.  He is responsible for communicating, training, equipping and appreciating Family Life’s volunteers who help promote the conferences in cities across the United States.

Their children are Hannah, Mary, Grace and Kara.
