The early grade school years are a time when children's minds are growing almost as fast as their shoe size! In Grace Kidz, we want their minds to be growing in Christ.
First and Second Grade meets on the lower level in room B-27. Sunday school is from 9:45 to 10:45.
What we do on Sunday mornings:
The Sunday School hour starts off in a large group, where the children learn Biblical truths by singing songs, learning Bible verses, and enjoying other exciting activities. A special time is set aside for recognizing birthdays and those that have said a Bible verse as part of our Well-Versed Kidz program. (See below).
Then, the children divide into small groups, where they can receive more personal interaction with a loving adult who teaches, encourages, prays, and laughs with the children. They remain in the same small group all year so everyone can really get to know each other. Their small group teacher will share with them the love of God and guide them as they grow closer to Him.
