Boys' Brigade
Boys' Brigade Logo "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever if noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things." Philippians 4:8

"Boys will be boys!"  That's why there is a thrilling new adventure in store every week for your boy in Boys' Brigade!  Lessons meet a boy where they are and then take them to Jesus.

Brigade meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 during the school year.  Boys are divided into two groups.

     Tree Climbers is for boys in First and Second Grade.

     Stockade is for boys in Third through Sixth Grade. 

Boys' Brigade programs are designed to encourage men to take an active role in a boy's life.  Therefore, dads are invited to attend meetings along with their sons.  

Campouts, held in the fall and spring, are a highlight of the year.  Boys camp out in tents, fish, hike, and play games.  Each night ends with a campfire, where leaders make Biblical lessons come to life.

Tree Climbers

Tree Climbers is for boys in first and second grade.  They meet in room N-150, which is just off the gym.

Each hour and a half is packed with fresh, creative, active learning that will capture your son's interest and make him look forward to coming back every week.  The Grace Kidz staff in Tree Climbers is dedicated to helping each boy grow in his knowledge and love of the Lord. 

Lessons might include the boys building a birdhouse with real hammers while they learn how much more God cares for them than he does the birds.

Stockade

Stockade is for boys in third through sixth grade.  The boys meet in the gym.

A favorite way to start the evening is with a game of Dodge Ball.  The boys will also explore exciting new things by accomplishing challenging projects and earning special awards.  They might take apart a computer to learn that it takes each person doing what God has called him to do in order to work well together for the glory of God.

Each boy will also be a part of a small group, called a 'post', where he will find some great new friends and dig deeper into a Bible lesson.  Stockade Rangers encourage and motivate boys to grow spiritually as well as develop life skills.

A big event is the Pinewood Derby Race, held in later winter.  Boys build their own cars and then race them against each other.  Each boy is given a ribbon for participation.  Trophies are given to the top winners.
