    MOPS
A place to refresh and renew
with other moms just like you!

    Wednesday's MOPS@nite resumes January 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday Morning MOPS resumes January 17 at 9:30 a.m.

Do you long to be a part of a community of moms? We believe that incubating hearts and giving "just-because-hugs" can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, but our group is for moms with kids from birth through high school. We rally women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another. We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world. Whether you have infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school age children, we believe all of us share the same desire - to be the best mothers we can be. Our program is designed so that moms will experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope together. All women are welcome!

    Morning MOPS@grace Meets Tuesdays 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
We meet the first and third Tuesdays of every month and enjoy a yummy breakfast, creative activity, and small group time. We feature engaging speakers who address topics relevant to marriage, family, and child-rearing. The alternate Tuesdays are optional Bible study days – a chance to dig into the Bible and get to know your small group even better! While the moms are together, their children, infant through pre-K, are cared for in the MOPPETS Program where they enjoy crafts, music, snacks, and Bible stories. In addition, we offer a fantastic program for homeschooled children.

    MOPS@nite meets Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Our evening moms group meets in the evenings, every week! Our time includes yummy treats, table time, speakers, and crafts. While the moms meet, we offer a full range of programming for children, infants through high school.

TBS: Tuesday Bible Studies for Women
We have a place for you!
    Tuesdays, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

    Tuesdays, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
    Includes Exciting Programs for Children!

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. - Psalm 90:14

Tuesday morning Bible studies are a wonderful way to make connections at Grace. We offer several different groups from which to choose. The women’s ministry at Grace desires to bring women of all ages together to grow in faith, encourage one another, and share Christ with those in our community. All are welcome to join us weekly for encouragement, prayer, and Bible study.

    Class Options

Jesus, the One and Only by Beth Moore (meets in Senior High Room)
Join us for an in-depth study of the life of Jesus based on the book of Luke. A life-changing journey which will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake with the Master, and finally, on the road toward the cross with the Savior. Get to know Jesus intimately, as though you had walked with Him during His days of earthly ministry. NOTE: This in-depth study is closed for now. Led by Karen Fulford and Shannon Henry.

Refresh (meets in the Junior High Room)
We all have dry seasons and yearn for refreshment. We desire a closer relationship with God, but we don’t know how to make that happen. Join us as we introduce a fresh, simple format that will radically change the way you interact with Scripture. Let's learn together as we study I John, II John, and III John. Get ready for a whole new view of the Bible! Led by Beth Hilbert.

Spanish Bible Study: “Las Damas de Habla Espanol” (meets in The Prayer Room)
For some of us, Spanish is our second language, not our mother tongue. We are Spanish-speaking ladies who gather together to study the Bible and pray. This year we will study, “El Evangelio de San Juan” (The Gospel of John). Led by Judy Forseth.

Quilting & More (meets in the Special Needs Ministry room)
Quilting & More is a close “knit” group of ladies of all ages who meet for fellowship, encouragement, and prayer. Each morning we have a devotion and time of sharing show-and-tell projects followed by a project demonstration or work day. While quilting is the focus, there are ladies who knit, crochet, and craft. We find joy in doing community projects, taking field trips, and a yearly retreat to Shipshewana, Indiana. All are welcome! Led by Pat Ivaska,

Lazarus Awakening by Joanna Weaver (meets in lower level, Room 6)
For many of us, moving the truth of God’s love from our heads to our hearts is a lifelong process. You believe that God loves the world…but sometimes you wonder if He truly loves you. This book by Joanna Weaver invites you to experience a divine shift in how you view your relationship with God. Shattering spiritual formulas for performance-driven faith, Lazarus Awakening clears a path to sweet intimacy with Jesus. You’ll encounter the story of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus in a fresh way as you open your heart to the truth that you are cherished—apart from anything you accomplish, apart from anything you bring. Just as He called Lazarus forth to new life, Jesus wants to free you to live fully in the light of His love, unhindered by fear, regret, or self-condemnation. Led by Normi Howard and Val Bergia.

    Side-by-Side (meets in The Lounge)
A ministry to women who are married to medical and dental students, residents, fellows, as well as staff physicians and dentists. We are a non-denominational, Bible-based ministry that is evangelical in nature. We seek to encourage, support, and minister to women in medical marriages through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Led by Julie Hendricker.

    MOPS@gracepres (meets in the Atrium)
Do you long to be a part of a community of moms? Join women who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS may stand for Mothers of Preschoolers, but this group is for moms with kids of all ages – from birth through high school. MOPS@grace is rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another. We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world. Meetings are the first and third Tuesdays with Bible study offered on the alternate Tuesdays. All women are welcome! Led by Sarah Alkire, Bethany Morris, and Casey Caliendo.

    KIDVENTURE & HOMESCHOOL CLASS

Moms, while you attend a Tuesday morning group, your kids are loved and well-cared for in their own classrooms. We offer no-cost child care for infants through preschoolers.

Homeschoolers will enjoy a weekly rotation of varying subjects such as science, art, foods and nutrition. The homeschool class is divided into two groups: kindergarten through second grade, and third through sixth grade. There is a $25 per child per semester fee for the homeschool class.

Through her DVD study she will help you learn how to:

    • Cure the disease to please with a biblical understanding of the command to love.
    • Escape the shame and guilt of disappointing others by learning the secret of the small no.
    • Overcome the agony of hard choices by embracing a wisdom based decision-making process.
